About

Climate change, global warming – whats the difference? Eco, green, sustainable, what does this all mean? This stuff is important right?

Right.

So what do we do?

Well, we could all start making our own deodorant from talcum powder and goat butter, and using solid shampoo that gets stuck in the tin and then won’t even lather up in our hair, and we could patch all our jeans with organic cotton thread soaked in mother nature’s mythical milk. And then maybe, just maybe, we might manage to change something…

Hyperbole I know, but still; no. Just no. That would really, really, suck. Shampoo that smells good and actually lathers in your hair is good. And clothes that look nice are good. Candles that smell awesome are good. Cake is good. There is so much good stuff in our world.

But does it have to cost the earth?

I don’t think so.

In this blog I review stuff that claims to be environmentally friendly, or eco/green, and ask – does this do what it claims to, and is it worth it? All while trying to untangle the question of just how do we actually live normal lives without ruining our planet.

Welcome 😊

I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them bloom for me and you, and I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

Thinking like ethical people, dressing like ethical people, decorating our homes like ethical people makes not a damn of difference unless we also behave like ethical people.
